Cleaning your range

Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the oven and cooktop are cool.

To clean the control panel on your range or oven, spray a water-based cleaner on a soft cloth or sponge – do not spray directly on the panel. 

To clean the control knobs, turn them to off and pull straight away from the control panel. Wash, rinse and dry thoroughly – do not soak the knobs or place them in a dishwasher.

For heavily soiled areas on the cooktop, use a nonabrasive, plastic-scrubbing pad. Affresh Cooktop Cleaner is a great solution and comes with non-abrasive pads.  Do not use steel wool, abrasives or harsh cleansers, as they may cause damage to the finish.
